Brake discs can be cleaned using specialized brake system cleaners.

Brake System Cleaners:

Specialized Purpose: These are cleaners specifically designed for automotive braking systems, primarily used to remove oil, dust, and contaminants from the surfaces of components such as brake discs and brake pads.
Usage: Simply spray the cleaner onto the brake disc, let it sit for one or two minutes, and then scrub it thoroughly with a brush.

Other Cleaning Agents:

Degreasers: If there is oily residue on the brake discs, specific degreasers can be used; these are highly effective at breaking down and removing oil stains.
Alcohol or Gasoline: For stubborn oil stains, alcohol or gasoline can be used for wiping. However, ensure the area is well-ventilated and kept away from ignition sources for safety. Note that if gasoline is used, the disc should be rinsed thoroughly with water immediately afterward to prevent residue buildup.
Soapy Water: For light oily residue on the brake disc surface, soapy water can also be used. This method is relatively gentle and suitable for situations where the oil contamination is not severe.
