WishBrake composite discs come in two grades: a street grade for use and a track grade for racing.
The street legal composite brake discs are made for driving. They fit common aftermarket pads like low metallic pads. These brakes squeal when the brakes are warm. I have seen how these discs last a long time. They run well on the highway on mountain roads. When you drive a bit hard, they are a fit for luxury performance cars.
The track oriented composite rotors are built for use. They use a mix of materials and have a tougher inter part locking design. This grade needs matching performance pads and careful heat cycle break in steps to work right. I know that the track grade requires heat cycle break in procedures to ensure function.
Raw material selection for WishBrake composite brake components follows a size testing process. For MMC rotor blanks important points are the size spread of the reinforcing particles, how evenly the particles are spread in the metal and strict control of impurities. The bond between layers and locking pieces is checked with fatigue cycles. Any blank that fails is thrown out before CNC machining. This stops problems such as material separation or stress spots at seams that could happen when braking.
The composite materials are made to stay stable at temperatures. A better formula and shape help heat flow. This cuts the chance of spots appearing during heavy braking. The result is that the rotors resist heat fade and cracking. These rotors are good, for mountain descents and occasional track days.
Assembling the discs uses a tooth interlock method. A set pre load procedure makes sure the lock is perfect-so there is no over tightening or under tightening that could weaken the part over time. Each semi finished composite unit is inspected for the assembly state.
For shipping WishBrake packs the parts. Composite brake components are wrapped in shock absorbing foam to stop damage during transport. They are then put in export cartons and wooden pallets. Options are container load (FCL) or less than container load (LCL). The main port is Qingdao. Customers can use their freight forwarder. They can also take recommendations from WishBrake's logistics partners.
When installing WishBrake discs a few key steps must be followed. The hub surface must be clean no rust or dirt. The wheel bolt torque must match the specified value. After installation a standard break in cycle must be done. The brake pad must match the rotor grade. If these steps are not followed the assembly can fail. Those failures are not covered by warranty.
